The Beginning: The story of a Swedish-born immigrant who came to the “new world” in 1639 and bought land along a river. It was soon be known as Jonas Bronck’s river and eventually, the Bronx River. In this episode we will tackle a few misconceptions about how The Bronx became The Bronx and learn of the story of the Bronck family legacy.
